Chardonnay 2008

Tasting Notes:

The 2008 Quickfire Napa Valley Chardonnay has crisp acidity and exhibits flavors of Granny Smith apples with hint of orange blossom. This full-bodied wine exudes creamy notes reminiscent of great white Burgundies. Pair with roasted chicken, pork loin or veal dishes.

After fermentation, the wine is stirred and left to age for 2 more months on lees in stainless steel tanks to gain further body and flavor.

90% of the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 10% is fermented in new French oak barrels.
